Imagine stepping into a showroom and being able to see every model an automaker has to offer – even those that aren’t on the dealership lot yet. Well, that’s exactly what the new Cadillac virtual reality program allows you to do.
Dealerships across the United States are now able to take car buyers through not only their traditional on-site inventory but through a virtual inventory as well. This includes the all-new XT4 compact premium crossover, which isn’t even available at dealerships yet.
If you’re worried that virtual reality will replace the ability to experience the on-site shopping experience, never fear. Instead, customers can just use this tech as an opportunity to figure out the details of their future Cadillac, including exterior and interior colors, trim levels, and a variety of specifications that they might not otherwise be able to see.
This means that smaller Cadillac dealerships that might not have a large inventory will still be able to show consumers the vehicle of their dreams without necessarily having it on the lot.
Cadillac has released the first ten installations of the virtual reality technology this month. Already, 50 Cadillac dealers out of the 926 in the United States have already signed up for the program. Here at Plaza Cadillac, we are eager to see how customers respond to this new way to shop for Cadillac vehicles.
