The 2020 Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V are the shiniest new toys to be announced by Cadillac. The luxury automaker’s track-ready sedans give impressive performances and are packed with exciting new features.
A variant of the up-and-coming CT4 sedan, the 2020 CT4-V utilizes a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine, which delivers 320 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle also has an ideal 50/50 weight distribution, contributing to its excellent grip and balance. Plus, it rides on 18-inch wheels and boasts a slick-looking spoiler. With the rear-wheel-drive model, summer-only performance tires are included. Meanwhile, all-season tires come with the all-wheel-drive model.
The 2020 CT5-V adds onto the new CT5 that it’s based on. The larger of the two V-Series cars, it sits on 19-inch wheels wrapped in performance tires. The vehicle also uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine to achieve 355 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Needless to say, it packs a punch.
Both cars will employ Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension technology, Brembo® front brakes, limited-slip rear differential, a 10-speed automatic transmission, V-Mode steering wheel control and available Super Cruise™ for when you want a driving break.
According to Brandon Vivian, executive chief engineer at Cadillac, “The new V-Series sedan lineup defines modern sophistication by combining luxury appointments with thoughtful technology and athletic refinement for the discerning enthusiast.”
We at Plaza Cadillac are excited for the release of the 2020 Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V, both of which are expected to launch in early 2020. Until then, test-drive one of the other luxury vehicles on our lot.
