It was a good month and an even better year for Cadillac as it established itself as the fastest-growing full-line luxury brand in the United States, with sales up a whopping 22% for its largest expansion since 1976.
Cadillac’s exceptional growth was powered primarily by the new, award-winning ATS sedan and the 2014 CTS Vsport sedan, both of which have redefined and enhanced the way customers think about Cadillac. The ATS experienced its best total sales month since launch and attracted throngs of buyers that were new to the brand, while the CTS Vsport’s 420 horsepower Cadillac Twin-Turbo V6 roared its way to a huge 75% sale increase last month.
Cadillac also began shipping the 2014 ELR electrified luxury coupe to dealerships like Plaza Cadillac last month, which helped the brand achieve a 20% increase in retail sales in December, compared to last year.
And if that wasn’t enough, it’s also been racking up the awards, including the North American Car of the Year for the ATS and Motor Trend’s Car of the Year for the CTS.
