Cadillac has seen several major changes in its management team recently, with the newest addition being Richard Brekus, who has taken on the roll of Director of Global Product Strategy. In his position, Brekus reports directly to new Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen, and brings with him the invaluable marketing, product, and sales consultation experience from his previous position as President of MSP Advisors.
“Richard’s appointment to Cadillac’s management team signals our heightened focus on growing the brand with a balanced product portfolio across our global markets.” de Nysschen said in a statement. “I look forward to having him on my team as a strategic partner who will play a key role in continuing our brand transformation.”
Looking toward the future, GM hopes to build as many as four new Cadillac crossover vehicles, and there is potential for a Cadillac supercar under Brekus’ direction. With goals of growing its business to 500,000 global sales by 2020, Cadillac is looking to Brekus to revamp the product lineup and in turn, grow sales significantly in the coming years.
Here at Plaza Cadillac, we look forward to seeing how Richard Brekus influences the product lineup in his role as Cadillac Global Product Strategy Director. Stay tuned!
